Gussie

Good news! Gus had to go to the vet yesterday because of the fiasco this weekend. He has no organ damage. He did get an ulcer though so is on meds to heal that. The doctor also noticed that Gus was limping on his bad leg. He checked it out and said his knee is still tight just swollen from overdoing it. That was music to my ears. I was so afraid he tore his ACL again.

Wow.......

Our house is truly hopping now. Friday I stayed home from work and we had extra insulation blown in to the wall of our house. I washed the carpet and the bedding and just got extra cleaning done. I even made cookies. It felt wonderful to putz in the house. Mom even came and visited.

Saturday I couldn't sleep so I got up and made my free photo book from Leah, watched my babies, picked up our new car and Gus from the groomers, fixed dinner and mom came. Then all heck broke out. I had given Gus an ibuprophen around 5 pm because he was hurting ( his knee). After dinner Manda and I went out for a few min and when we got back Dave said he gave Gus 2 ibuprophen. So Manda called animal poison control. Dave had to induce vomiting in Gus. May I say that our dog has an iron stomach! Well I woke up to Gus vomiting this morning and got him outside and then looked at our capet. I will just say that Gus was busy and didn't use the same part of the carpet all night. Yes on my clean carpet but not so clean now. I will be washing carpet again today. It looks ok now but I'm waiting till everyone gets up to make noise.

I'm hoping today will be much more uneventful. We shall see. I am now going to go dye my hair since I seem to be turning grayer at a much faster rate these days :)

Book-O-Ween

These were our costumes this year at school. We have to choose a costume that goes along with a book so we were the pink ladies and Craig (principal) was Danny Zuko.

Pictures of Mom and Dad A

We went to Dave's aunts funeral on Friday. We were given some pictures of his mom and dad at the age of 23. That is Lindsey's age! I find that so strange.

We did it!

We got them moved! It took about 12 hours and a lot of sore muscles. It is amazing what you accumulate over the years. I just pray Dave and I don't have to move because we have lived here 22 years! That would be such a mess.

A new segment begins tomorrow....

Tomorrow is the big day for Todd and Amanda. A new chapter for them starts. Please pray for us that we get it all done and have FUN while doing it. Everything has fallen into place except the housing but now that they will be here full time they can concentrate on that. Thank you God for bringing them back to the vicinity where their families are.
