Here you go Beth...

Well I tried to upload a picture but blogger is acting up!

Things have been busy around here. Manda and Todd are hopping every day with work and details with trying to close on the house. We all enjoy sitting around in the evenings talking and watching TV. No matter how stressful our house is right now we all agree we are going to miss our evenings together when they move out. Caleb just loves his xmas tree and is enjoying the advent calendar. Kodie girl is always on the run. This little girl never sits down! She is just a hoot.

Gussies ulcer has healed nicely and he is no longer limping on his knee from his run with Todd. We did find out that he is a sprinter just like the Aeschliman's and not a long distance runner like the Snyders. Duffie was sick but was put on antibiotics and is healthy. Why do we have animals? I'm a sucker. I just look at them and my heart melts. Oh well, I guess that is one of the reason Dave fell in love with me.

Work is just work. I just saw Trenton yesterday at Cornerstone. He was a reading buddy for one of the first graders. Dave is is trying to wear two hats at Ford, one as a designer and one as a leader. He is coming home exhausted and a tad stressed. I wish Ford could hire a few more designers for his group.

Dave and I decided we are going to start making our porch into a year round room. Our family is growing and we could use the extra space. We just ordered 12 windows and they will be installed Jan. 19. This room will take time. We will keep at it as we get the money. Seems a house is Gods way of keeping a person grounded and not rich. We also have been trying to take advantage of the tax credits so we reinsulated the house and bought a new woodstove. At least will get some of our tax money back :)

I'm counting down the days till xmas vac.

Todd and Amanda's new home.

This is it. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch on 2 1/2 acres. The top view is from their deck. If all goes well with the inspections and everything else that has to happen this will be their new home. It is even Dexter Schools so Caleb and Kodie will be able to go to Cornerstone (with me) if Todd and Amanda wants that. I am so excited. They will be 3 miles from our house. I know Susan is itching to do the landscaping. We are all so excited for them.
